• Information you give us, such as your company name, contact person, email address and phone number when you request tender information, register an account or submit a bid.
• Account information for portal administrators, such as name, email address and assigned role.
• Technical information collected automatically, such as browser type, IP address and pages visited, used to keep the portal secure and working.

• To publish tenders and communicate addenda, clarifications and outcomes to bidders.
• To receive, evaluate and record bids in line with procurement law.
• To manage administrator accounts and protect the portal against misuse.
• To meet KenGen's legal, audit and reporting obligations.

We do not sell your information. We share it only where necessary to run a procurement process, where the law requires it (for example, with oversight and audit bodies), or with service providers who host the portal on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

The portal uses strictly necessary cookies to remember your cookie choice and keep staff signed in. Optional analytics cookies are used only if you accept them. Our Cookie Policy lists every cookie we use, and you can change your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” in the site footer.

Procurement records are kept for the periods required by law and then securely disposed of. We use access controls and encryption in transit to protect information held on the portal.
